Ah, isn't the weather grand? Been reading "Angela's Ashes" and "Tis" by Frank McCourt, so now I wish I could write dialogue. In any event, let me just say that I've had some setbacks, some moving forward, and I'm feeling optimistic again for reasons that will be revealed all in good time. You've read "The Old Man and the Sea" probably, and I must say my mood in the past can be summarized by what I took away from the book: No matter how hard you work, the sharks will just destroy it. But today, I'm feeling much better. Perhaps I should re-read the book ...
Took Paul for a walk in the balmy spring-like weather at the Clark House, Princeton Battlefield, pictured above. There is a marker just behind the house that shows where Washington marched with troops. Way cool.
Also, poor little Maggie is pretty much "naked" because I've been trying to groom her myself, with pretty pathetic results, so to get her ready for summer, I had a pro groom her and she had to be shaved to be rid of the mats. But, she's awfully cute. A neighbor came by and commented that she had a haircut. I had no idea anyone would pay attention.

I enjoyed reading Angela's Ashes and 'Tis years ago. Good books.

I like the naked dog! Poor Maggie.
