The weather has been so balmy - it is uplifting. I do, however, dislike the start of daylight savings time. I always feel like I've been robbed of an hour. It seems like just when it is getting lighter in the morning, bam, back to winter. There's been quite a bit of talk on the news about the change and how it effects the body's rhythms. I never use an alarm, and it is so much easier to get up when the sun is shining. I've always wondered if the depression during the winter is due to psychological factors, but now I think there's a physiological aspect also. But it can't be just one or the other for me, as I haven't had a huge winter depression this year, and it is certainly as dark here as in Cheyenne - it's about the same latitude. The milder winter without so much wind has to be a factor. I think I'm going to go take a "daylight savings is catching up with me" nap.

I came down stairs this morning and asked Hannah about breakfast and she loudly protested, "But, MOM! It's only 6!" I had to remind her about the whole time change thing. Poor kid. Simon didn't want to get up at all!

Off to school in a few minutes. Have a wonderful day.
