Another wonderful day with Karl - he's quite the shopper. We went to the Columbia Mall, which is a huge mall along the lines of Cherry Creek Mall - parking garage and all. Since I gave him my carry-on luggage, I got the extreme pleasure of buying another piece of carry-on, and we shopped and shopped for pants for Karl. He's pretty particular about his dress pants, which he wears all the time. We then stopped at the guitar/music stores in Catonsville, which he said were better than any guitar shops in Denver - hah, once in a while having a large population base is useful!
This morning, (while he slept in) I went and bought plants and this evening, Paul, his friend Dylan, and I did some gardening. Dylan had never planted a plant before, so Paul enlightened him, and the boys put in some "pinks" in the front bed, and I put out plants in pots on the back deck. I feel like I've opened up the back yard for the summer! It was hot and humid, but its supposed to be a little chilly soon. People here are leery of the chill, but I'm not worried, after all, it is supposed to be snowing 20 inches in Evergreen!
