To New Jersey
Paul and I had a great two-day trip to New Jersey. It was great to see Daniel, Ellen and all the kids, and they had a couple of their friends over for a barbeque on the 4th, which was fun, and then we walked over to see the fireworks. Today, we made an effort to go to Avon-by-the-Sea on the Jersey shore, but we didn't stay long - it was cold and windy, but at least Paul can say we went to the shore. We'll try again in August. I did like the town and I'm looking forward to going back. New Jersey more pleasant and rural than I ever thought it would be, although it suffers from the same problem as the entire eastern seaboard - too many people.

We got to see Misty and her new baby - Oliver - who was born nearly the size of a typical 3-month-old baby. He looks just like his dad. The nickname of Moose comes to mind :) although I knew a great big young man in Fairplay named "Tiny."

At one point, the women were in the kitchen - what is new about that? - but we were all talking about our blogs. Now, that's the new twist.
