Hannah and Paul's birthday
We split the difference between Hannah's birthday next week and Paul's birthday earlier this month and went over to Ellen's for a joint birthday gathering today. Ellen made yummy cake and the kids had a great time playing outside. It was a wonderful afternoon, with the added bonus of being so close it's only a 45 minute drive, not a big ordeal. What fun! Ellen's house looks so nice and fall-ish, I thought I'd post a photo. After being a bit afraid of Seth when he was younger, Paul now seems fond of him. It helps that Seth adores him. Maybe there's a lesson there - like other people first and they'll like you back :)
