New parishAfter Mass, Paul and I went out to the car and fetched the camera, which was in the car because I'd had two assignments on Saturday, and went in and shot photos of the new parish. It has lovely, blue stained glass windows that remind me of Charte Cathedral in France, particularly the window above the choir loft, which, as you can see, reflects most admirably in the marble around the crucifix. I'll bet it is patterned after Charte - I'm going to do some research and see. After Mass, Paul and I walked a couple of blocks down to the local Starbucks - Frank called on the cell phone, wanting to figure out where we were and I told him we'd probably be there pretty much every Sunday at that time :)
It was a wonderful, awesome, marvelous fall day - a beautiful area across from Princeton University. In short, perfect. On the way home, we crossed a river where there were teams in a rowing contest. How "Ivy League" can you get?
