Happy (early) Birthday
I'm getting to the age (which we won't reveal specifically) where it makes more sense to get what you want for your birthday for yourself and I did so this year, buying myself a small Canon digital camera to carry in my purse. There have been several times when I've gone somewhere and not brought back photos; Ellen always has her little digital camera with her, and I've been a bit jealous, quite frankly. So, now I have a little camera for outings and a big one for assignments and special events. It is a surprisingly nice little camera for not a lot of money. You see that I played with it today after Mass. It was a rather gray day. I want to try it again on a sunny day. After the flower (on a shrub, blooming in front of St. Paul's Parish), there are two shots of Princeton campus and two shots of main street. The bottom shot is of the Princeton museum, in the house of the man who was the Captain of the USS Constitution, the ship docked in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. It was an interesting connection, since we toured the Constitution while we were in Baltimore.
