K-State Student Union

The English Department building

The Hale Library - newly remodeled in 1996, it blends in beautifully with the rest of campus.

K-State

I decided to take some photos of the campus when I was there for a meeting on Wednesday. Normally, the book bag I use is so heavy I don't want to carry anything else, but that day all I needed was a little notebook, so I took along the camera. K-State has a lovely campus - nothing can beat Boulder's "Baghdad by the Flatirons" but this is still a great campus. The student union is fairly new, with all the stuff one needs; but the library is great, with lots of computers, and excellent on-line resources. In general, it avoids the drawback to the Princeton campus - there are few monstrous 1960s style buildings junking up the area. Apparently there use to be one that was torn down, and there's a classroom building that is rather prison-like, but overall, pretty nice.

Not a bad place to spend two days a week ...
