Paul's Ag Class project - Examining the results of videotaping.Ag class project
For Paul's ag class, the students paired up - here he is with his friend, Oscar - and they had to script and videotape a presentation on caring for an animal, or in this case, a group of animals - the chickens. So, yesterday after school, they came over to the house with their loaner school video camera, and did several "takes" in the coop and in the chicken run. Oh, they played a little basketball and football, too, fed the pigs, helped The Man for a minute with some new cows... taste of farm life for Oscar, who, despite being in a farm class, has no farm background. Actually, it is amazing how many of the kids in FFA, Future Farmers of America, have no farm background. It's good experience, and good learning - in the ag class, Paul has learned how to weld (and managed not to set himself on fire).
My Grandfather McKenzie was a welder, so I've been told; my Grandfather Stonebraker and my dad were all very mechanically minded. I'm not sure Paul inherited more from my dad than his good looks :) but time will tell...
