Merry Christmas, everyone!
We had a wonderful Christmas - after opening presents on Christmas Eve, we ate our ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetables and pie Christmas dinner and Paul and I went to Midnight Mass, which was so enjoyable. I really like doing something extra for the Lord - and I always think of Midnight Mass as sacrificing sleep for worship. As you can see, Paul liked his new globe - just the week before, he'd asked me for a globe. I put him off, but I was glad to know that we were on the right track.
Christmas Day
Paul and I went over to Ellen's for a delightful ham dinner - don't worry, I really like ham - and present opening with Ellen and the grandkids. Afterwards, Ellen and I were upstairs and all the kids were downstairs - it really was "too" quiet for a little while, and we came back downstairs to see that Seth was so delighted that he had made a mound of the sofa cushions and climbed aboard! He was happily watching Elmo on TV. It was so funny, I just laughed and laughed and had to take a photo.
