As you can see, we went to Point Pleasant Beach on Wednesday. It was a bit chilly, but I can see we will be going there again this summer. It has a boardwalk, restaurants and some amusement park type rides for the kids. My tendency would be to go directly to the beach, like we did last year, and do no other activities, but I think the kids will enjoy the boardwalk. The people there were very friendly, overall, and we shopped downtown a bit. One of the women from the office is from Point Pleasant Beach and she said there's a great used clothing store in town - if we'd known that, we'd have shopped!
