Simple things are the best
Ellen and I had the best day today - going shopping at a farm-gardening supply place, a greenhouse, and a quilt store - topped off by a nice lunch. All the shops are in Pennington, just north of here a bit. I want to go back and explore "downtown" Pennington sometime. We walked into the farm supply place and both of us said it was just like going back to Greeley. It was really fun - toy tractors, Carharts, horse halters, gardening tools, bird feeding supplies. I bought hedge clippers and used them immediately when we got home, the weather was so pleasant. Ellen was kind and indulged me by hauling two bales of straw home for me so Paul could have a target for his bow and arrows. I really like it that we are such good friends in addition to being mother and daughter.
