Couple of interesting things in the last days. As a get-away for Paul and I, we decided to go to the Franklin Museum in Philadelphia on Thursday. I think we'll go again with Ellen and the kids, but this trip, we just needed a day together. I'm not so sure why, but I don't like Philadelphia. I always seem to be lost, but we finally found the museum. We headed to the pirate exhibit, which is way cool, and Paul particularly enjoyed a section that shows how various machines work, along with a section on aviation. The lunch area was packed and seemed too small anyhow, so we each settled for a candy bar and soda for lunch ... for $9.20. Those places certainly know they have a captive audience. Next time, I'll bring my own candy bar :)
Today, we went to Washington Crossing State Park for an early morning walk. It was lots of fun. I've found a back way to get there that only takes about 15 minutes, rather than the highway. I'll post those photos next.
