I've fallen behind in my photo posting duties. First, last Saturday, on assignment, the editorial staff and I went to Philadelphia to cover the Convention for the Common Good, a Catholic Social Justice convention. Much to my delight, a Franciscan Sister I love dearly was there. I hadn't seen her since I worked for the Holy Land Franciscan Monastery in DC. I was completely delighted to see her - and even more delighted when she commented that I seemed so relaxed that she hardly thought I was the same person. Of course, my time at the end of the Baltimore saga was a pretty stressful time ... now, I'm getting along well in Trenton. But I wouldn't have thought it would be so obvious.

In any event, we took a quick side trip to the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, since it was just across the street from the hotel where the meeting was held. I've enclosed photos of the Basilica. It is very beautiful inside. I wasn't able to get a really good exterior, but it is a bit rough, but understandable, since it was built in the mid-1850s.
