I just had to show you the best invention ever - and I don't even know it's name. It's a handy-dandy apple peeler/correr/slicer and it IS the best thing since sliced bread. Ellen brought hers over, but since I have about 20 pounds of apples left, after we made and jarred apple sauce (spicy and plain) and apple butter, I'm intending to make sliced apples for pie ... I need one. Seth thinks its a toy, and even Paul gave it a go. It's amazing where one can find amusement ... (and the kids like to eat the shoestring-ish apple peelings.)
