Random Farm Images


Not much going on - put up the Christmas lights on Thanksgiving day - it looks so beautiful and welcoming....


The Man is overwintering a herd of cows - Corriente cattle, used for roping. We understand that they are gentle, but look a bit fierce, don't they? They have their own area, all to themselves.


Speaking of those darned cows ... we have one that persists in escaping. Why is there always one that is an escape artist? She doesn't go anywhere, just wanders off to what she thinks are greener pastures ... sometimes she takes a friend along. But, since I'm not exactly a cattle expert, getting the little buggers back in the fence is a real headache.


I'm struggling along with term papers - finished one on Latina lesbians (who says a college education isn't broadening?) - and now I'm on to a much more interesting one on John Donne and Edmund Spencer as examples of how the Protestant revolution changed English literature in the 16th century. Don't laugh, I find this interesting. Just difficult to weed out exactly what I want to say in a 7-page paper. Remember: It takes all kinds ...
