Signs of hope for the future!
Here's looking at you ...
Every spring, I go out, looking for signs of hope for the future ... winter is over, spring is on its way! This year is no different, and I enjoyed taking some photos this morning.
The chicks are starting to be able to fly, and it won't be long, they'll be flying out of the brooder. So, the plan is to finish the coop in the next week or so, and move them out. The Man came home with five more chicks last week, which are too small to move, so I think the plan is to leave them in the smaller brooder (read stock tank) for another week or two. It will mean two locations for morning and evening chores for a couple of weeks, but that's OK.

Hannah just asked, "Why aren't they so fluffy!?!" Apparently the adorable factor has already dwindled for her. I told her they were getting their little feathers in.
I love the signs of spring too. I have some daffodils and tulips coming up. The leaves on the hydrangeas are growing too! Yay, for spring.
