Hedge tree - very pretty, spreading tree.

Hedge balls - who knew? Turns out they are pretty much useless, which just seems wasteful, as they are everywhere.

Fall grasses, including the tall Indian Grass, and Switch Grass.

Morning walk again

I've been taking a morning walk as often as I can, but since I'm walking/jogging, I haven't taken then camera. Monday, of course, a Swainson's Hawk poses for me and today when I take the camera, he's a no-show. How do they know? As we live here longer, we've found a couple of places to drive to and park the car and take a walk, which seems like an oxymoron - driving to take a walk, but the road in at the end of the lane is a major road, and the traffic is very fast, so it's just not a great place to walk. So, we park at the end of the back road to a cousin's house or at the quarry that's part of the farm, and walk down the road. There's only so much wandering through the muddy roads on the back of the farm one can do.
