It's time for a Paul update ...

He is doing so well, I have joked about who sneaked in and replaced my son with a clone :)

He just had his 13th birthday, so who knows how long this will last, but he gets up in the morning, he feeds the barn cats, The Man makes him eat bacon and eggs; after school, he runs cross country and at the meet above, which was a small meet, he came in third with a time of 6:49 for a mile (if my memory serves me right); at the last meet with a field of 49, he came in 12th, which still counts for a medal. He does his homework, and after a bit of a false start he's now getting A's. He'll do various farm chores, including driving the skid loader and helping build various things, like my chicken coop (still underway); he'll be a go-fer for various projects, mow, and on occasion, drive the tractor. I'm just tickled pink. He's doing 4-H - planning on poultry and shooting sports, using his compound bow.

Yea for starting life over. I can recommend it ...
