Paul played his first basketball game Thursday night. I'm only now posting it because I flew off immediately to my night class, followed by covering the March for Life in Topeka on Friday, and last night, we went to the high school to watch the girl's play. It is part basketball, and part social hour for me, as I'm getting to know some really nice folks.
In any event, Paul rotated in about four times, and stole the ball a couple of times; they play positions, (I really don't understand much of this, you'll gather) and he knows one position, but the coach put him in at another one, and he was a bit confused. But, Dale Magnett, a great fellow and great basketball coach, said he thought Paul did pretty well, and that he was always engaged in the game. Well, you have to start somewhere ...
