Our Lady of Peace Shrine in Pine Bluffs.

Robbi Dagenhart O'Meara and I at the reunion. Sorry, I always seem to close my eyes ...
35th High School Reunion
It seems that high school reunions are either terribly awful or interesting, and this reunion was very enjoyable for me. I saw Robbi, which was my main goal, and managed to see several other people - too numerous to mention. I had volunteered to take photos at the event, and also took photos intended to help us identify everyone in the pictures later on, so I managed to meet almost everyone.
I had a great trip in total - including stopping at Our Lady of Peace Shrine in Pine Bluffs, where the sun came out for one moment so I could get a good photo.
Dorothy is such a wonderful host - we had dinner with retired Bishop Hart and Msgr. Sullivan, and then Mass at the Bishop's home on Sunday morning before I left to drive home. I had a great time catching up with Kathrine Patton, the former editor of the Wyoming Catholic Register, and we even got to shop at Donna's - my favorite "gently used" clothing store. Dorothy has such a great family - it was a blessing to be there.

Now, I'm looking forward to seeing the grandkids - oh and Ellen and Daniel and Karl and Tabitha - at the Weixelman family reunion in two weeks. But first, to write a term paper ...
