If you can stand more gardening photos ...
Today, I went up to the Mercer County demonstration garden for a demonstration on deadheading flowers. It was pretty much not news to me, but I really enjoyed myself anyway. I'm officially among the ranks of the old ladies, and may actually join the garden club. It's really a group of master gardeners, and once they heard I was trained with the Colorado State University Master Gardener program, they were interested in bringing me on board. I'll have to do some Jersey gardening studying, and I didn't think it was germaine to mention my training was in 1982, which seems like yesterday to me. However, as the meetings appear to be Monday during the day, actually attending a meeting won't be an option, as I rarely even get a lunch on Monday, much less have time to attend a garden meeting. I guess I'll just have to wait until I retire ... when I'm 90.

But, I found a nice park I intend to take Paul to for a walk some morning and the drive between here and the demo garden up by Pennington was enjoyable. I'm really liking it here!
