On Sunday, we all went up to Morristown for Paul's first martial arts tournament. He won two bouts and lost the last one, to the kid who went on to take third in his age/weight/experience group. There were only two other beginner kids, the rest were blue and yellow belts. Overall, I think he did well and he said he definitely wants to continue, so I'm pleased with that. There's another tournament in December and we'll probably enter him into that one. It was in the Mennen Arena, and only about an hour away. There were around a thousand people competiting in all the age and weight classes, all Tiger Schulman students. It was quite the operation.
