OK, had a great day, but it seemed like a quintessential New Jersey event. We went to Hopewell Township to the watershed "butterfly" days. I had it in my head that we'd be out in a remote area - or as remote as is possible in New Jersey. I'm just not adapted to being here yet. Bristol-Meyer-Squib provided parking. I thought, that's nice. It was in an actual parking garage. Remember my saying a year ago or so that I've been in more parking garages since moving to the east coast than I had in my entire life; well, here's another incident. In any event, they provided busses to the site, which did include a nice little butterfly pavilion, music, food and stuff for little kids like face painting and games. Paul did not indulge in the little kid stuff, but still, it was fun. Paying the entrance fee did make me think that I was helping out the watershed ...Saturday, August 09, 2008
