


See, there really are cows on this 550 acre property. And, in case you thought a horse was necessary for cattle production - proof that The Man goes out in the truck to check on said creatures. (The cowboy way - why walk when you can drive?) The cows are all bred and each will have a calf this spring and summer. Sort of a two-for-one-deal at the sale barn :)
And, I couldn't resist a photo of a wet and happy Maggie. We had tons of rain the last day - good for the plants - farmers rejoiced because of the crops - but the wet little doggie didn't like the bath I forced her to take before she came inside.

If I'd seen those photos without knowing where they had been taken, I would have been 100% confident they were either from Kansas or Nebraska. Looks Sooooo different to my california eyes.....
Very green, is that unusual? When I go back to colorado from CA it's like going from technicolor to black and white. (but i still love it, still feels like goin home)
